TUNE IN!!

Born in So Cal, and raised in the city of Compton, Ca, I grew up wanting to be different then what I saw regularly. Although the city is known for its bad influence, I was always inspired by the good. I been into art, writing & music my whole life. I Started creating at the age of 6. I created my first song on record at the age of 12, with my twin brother, for a song titled "Darkside". It was a song about a camping trip gone wrong, and us making a great escape. I immediately feel in love with the idea of creating art in this fashion, and haven't looked back. Alot of people are curious about where the name dlouthetruth comes from, and its simple. Back around the time when aim was a thing, I created a account and couldn't find a name so I asked my cousin for some ideas, and "dlouthetruth " came out. Never thought it would be my stage name, but I like it. Oh yea, some ask what Redwood Legion comes from, and here's the answer. When I set with Tech, we agreed we wanted something that represented togetherness, strength, and longevity. Me being the nature lover that I am, I immediately thought of the Redwoods. Huge tree's that have been around for centuries, and a beautiful representation of all those qualities I thought could represent us. The Legion part came from idea of multiple, and it had a ring to it, so we went with it. In conclusion, Im a art creating, music producing, rapper, writer, videographer and family man. Im trying to do it all. I believe that life is for the living, and live it to the fullest. Pursue your goals, and your dreams. You wont know if you don't try.
